Balance, a key to good health

Ayurveda is an ancient method for health and well being and can be translated to “Knowledge of life”. With its roots in India Ayurveda is a holistic science which aknowledges body, mind and soul simulteniously.

Prevention is better than cure
A healthy lifestyle with proper routines, good diet and regular cleansing strengthen the body so that sickness never has to occur. That´s the philosophy of Ayurveda.

Tridosha - three basic energies
According to Ayurveda there are three basic energies known as Tridosha that governs all biological and psychological functions in the body and mind. The Tridoshas are called Vata (air and space), Pitta (fire and water) and Kapha (water and earth). Each individual is a unique combination of these energies  where one is dominating. According to Ayurveda all sicknesses are a result of the imbalance in Tridosha.
In Ayurveda, massage is one of the most important and pleasurable method to bring the doshas in balance and in that way support health and well being.
